The magical Korento pattern designed by the artist Klaus Haapaniemi is now available in fashionable new blue tones. Klaus Haapaniemi is known for a highly original style that draws inspiration from nature and folklore. Haapaniemi’s Finnish roots are often highlighted in the international media; even the Kalevala has been mentioned. Indeed, it is easy to find references to folklore in Haapaniemi’s illustrations; Slavic and Japanese influences are also strongly present. Blue Korento is a seasonal product and is on until the end of 2012.
